A real teacher, applying AI in real time

I started using AI as a Special Education teacher, looking for ways to better support my students and manage my workload. I found that when used with care and a clear understanding of its limits, AI helped me differentiate more effectively and spend more time where it mattered. I’ve led my former school’s AI Working Group and helped shape AI policies and practices. I believe AI can help teachers in the classroom and help students thrive when we center their agency and put the right guardrails in place.
